We are caught up on weddings, which means I need to get caught up on some other blogs!

I am excited to be featuring Emily Lauren's Newborn session today! I was thrilled when Karen emailed and told me she and Deven were expecting their first baby and that she wanted us to do newborn photos! These two are such great people, and I couldn't be happier for them.

If you didn't know, we shot Karen and Deven's engagement session one chilly November day and then followed it up with their amazing wedding the following year at The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake on another November day: my birthday! We just love these two!! I am so thrilled they are growing their family and that they wanted us to be a part of capturing yet another wonderful memory!

Here are some of our favorites from the session...
Ms. Emily was born a little early, so we headed out to Karen and Deven's in the morning of Christmas Eve for some photos.

This next series with the basket was definitely my favorite. Love the little smile! What a beautiful baby girl!photo of newborn in basket smiling
