Here's another long time coming blog!Michele and I originally connected last August when she was first considering hiring us for her wedding day. Even before she booked us, she had referred us to another couple who also ended up booking us. I took that as a good sign. We always appreciate word of mouth referrals, but having her refer us before she had even met us - wow, what a compliment!!Once we met Michele I knew the day was going to be great. She's an awesome gal and so sweet. She was planning a beach themed wedding, she told us, and I was super excited to see what she brought to the table on the day of the wedding. And wow, did she knock it out of the park. Everything looked amazing. We didn't meet Sean until the day of the wedding, but the first thing he did was give me a big old hug - it was great! We met up with these two at Settle Hill Tree Farm where they had both their ceremony and reception. It was a humid day, but beautiful! The sun was definitely giving us a hard time, but we made it work and came out with lots of great photos. So many great ones, in fact, that it was hard to choose favorites for this blog.So let's get to it! When we caught up with Michele at Settle Hill, she'd already had her hair and makeup done by the very talented girls over at Lipstick N Lashes. And can I just say - she was glowing! Absolutely beautiful! Before she got dressed, we had a few minutes to catch some of the details. If you know us, you know we love shooting the details! Here's a few of our favorites.LOVED the shoes. The photo in the center was all Ed's idea. I love how the dress is in the mirror. Awesome shot! What did I tell you, glowing, right? Michele looked gorgeous!Props to the beautiful ladies...And of course, the fells were looking pretty good too. :)So on to the ceremony we go. Settle Hill Tree Farm has a beautiful spot for their ceremonies, and Michele had it decorated beautifully. These guys coming down the aisle were so cute!!Michele and Sean have two kids (and a little bundle of joy on the way), so this was an extra special moment. Loved it.Married! LOVE the shot on the right when he touches her belly - seriously, so sweet!
Right after they walked down the aisle I got these guys into the field behind the ceremony site for a few shots. Love these two. A beautiful family photo...And Michele still looking amazing...Love these next two. Especially the hand on the belly. I think it's great this little guy got to be a part of the day too!Once the sun started setting, we got these two out for some more photos, and easily some of my favorites. Especially this one...And then one more visit down by the pond...I love the way Sean is looking at Michele here. So romantic. Love these next two... same shot, taken at slightly different angles. One by Ed and one by me. Both are beautiful photos in their own way!Time to check out some of the amazing details of this reception!LOVED their intro! DJ Claude Sawyer of LaBOOM Entertainment was on hand getting the party started! This guy was busy all night - he was having a blast. And made for some really great photos! Posting this next one just for fun. I ran into Michele's brother (the guy in the blue) the other weekend at another wedding and he told me he had a photo of me taking a photo of him. I wonder how many of these are out there. Haha!As the night was winding down, Michele and Sean were still out on the dance for having a great time. I love seeing stuff like this! I could really keep going on with this blog, but I think I'll save a few surprises for Michele and Sean to share on their own. I'll end with this beautiful shot of the sun setting that Ed caught. Love this. Congrats again Michele and Sean!! We really enjoyed being part of your day!! Can't wait to meet the newest addition! :) xxoo
