A Great Rescue Story / Regional Animal Shelter / NY Animal Photographer

We are back with another personal project feature; one I am really excited to share with you! As our 2014 photography season got busier, our personal projects had to be put on hold. It was hard to sit on this story, but the cool thing about the project I was focusing on last year is that these stories are always timely! If you missed any of my previous features, check them out here. We covered a lot of great animal rescue stories, all with happy endings! Animal Rescue is still such a meaningful thing to Ed and I. If you've read the stories I've shared already, then you know we have three amazing dogs of our own and have rescued a few cats since our journey together began. We've even ...

It's been a while since I've been able to do a blog from my personal project series! Wedding season is in full swing, and we are busy! I couldn't wait any longer to share a little story about Lola. This next series in our personal project features rescue group Rottie Empire Rescue who happens to be one of the first rescues we worked with. I love the people of RER and am so glad we have connected with them over the last few years! They really give more of themselves than most people I know, and wow, they leave me speechless. Undying love for animals!Ed and I first connected with Rottie Empire Rescue a few years ago when we found a rottie along the riverbank of the highway between ...

We've been through a lot of trial, error and research to find the albums that work the best for us and our clients. To say I love our albums would be an understatement. Each time I design an album, I want to order a sample for myself. It helps that the companies we work with are fantastic! Their turnaround is quick, their customer service impeccable and their quality is hard to beat!We design our albums ourselves and each one is made unique to our couple. I rarely use templates when I design; it's almost always a blank canvas when I start a new album. I love giving an album to a couple and being able to tell them that their album isn't one in a million, it's even better! Unique and designed ...

A Great Rescue Story / Regional Animal Shelter / NY Animal Photographer

"I get to witness and see the dogs from start to finish and it is what keeps me going..." This is something our friend Renee told us after we met Suzie for the first time. Before I dive into Part 2 of The Suzie Project, I have to ask: Did you see the Part 1? If not, click here. And then come back and read this one. :)Ok, welcome back! Now that you're enlightened on what this project is all about, let's get started on Part 2.In Part 1 of the Suzie Project you saw some images of Renee with Suzie, the dog that came in to Regional Animal Shelter very thin, scared and with medical needs. In Part 3 of this blog, you'll see how Suzie has progressed (and maybe even her happy ending), but first, ...
