Since I was out in Lake Placid a couple of Saturday's ago, it seemed fitting to spend the night and sneak in this engagement session the next day! I was so glad I was able to do it. The fall colors were still there, it was a perfectly cloudy day and we got some amazing stuff from the day!

Not only did it give me a chance to get to know Ashley and Brenden before their big day next year, but they also got to know me and my second shooter Amanda - who will also be shooting the wedding with me! Total win. I don't usually have a second shooter with me for an e-session, but it was so great having Amanda there. She's super fun to work with and always full of ideas! 

Ashley and Brenden are so sweet and a lot of fun! They were easy to photograph; Ashley has some amazing eyes!! Brenden even made a suggestion about a spot with a killer view of Whiteface Mountain and I am so glad he did - I loved the location!
