Every couple is different - your story, your energy, your wedding day. That’s why I take on a limited number of weddings each year. So I can get to know you, celebrate your connection, and craft an experience that feels personal, relaxed, and completely yours.
This isn’t about a checklist of poses. It’s about presence. It’s about trust. It’s about honest, emotional images that feel like you - with all the love and legacy that day deserves.
1. The Discovery Call
We start with a warm, no-pressure conversation to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your venue, your vision, what matters most to you; and answer any questions you have.
2. Timeline & Planning Support
From when to schedule your golden-hour portraits to how many hours you really need, I’m here to guide you. Every wedding includes a custom timeline designed with light, logistics, and your love story in mind.
3. The Wedding Day
You get to be fully present. Heather (my second photographer) and I work seamlessly to cover every angle; from tender glances to full-on dance floor joy with artistic storytelling and calm professionalism.
4. The Reveal & Heirloom Delivery
A curated gallery arrives first, followed by your handcrafted heirloom album and cedar keepsake box; personalized with your initials and paired with our Buy One, Plant One tree initiative. A legacy, preserved.
Two-Artist Coverage
This isn’t a volume studio. This is a deeply personal, hands-on experience from start to finish.
Heather has been my second shooter for over 10 years.
I love working with her and you will too!
My work is rooted in connection, guided by light, and driven by story. It’s a blend of honest photojournalism and quiet editorial elegance.
You’ll never be over-posed. I’ll guide when needed and step back when the real moments unfold. The result? Images that feel effortless, timeless, and deeply you.
My husband and I have three kids, twin boys named Jackson and Connor and a daughter named Charlotte. We have been fortunate with good health and are so grateful for these three!
We also have two dogs, one cat, fish, snails, a flightless pigeon (long story), two guinea pigs, two budgies, some chickens and a few ducks!
Oh, and we recently rehabilitated a squirrel who still comes to the window for some nibbles of food.

My husband Ed and I were married on September 10, 2010 at River Stone Manor. We were blessed with some amazing wedding professionals - Matt Ramos Photography, Music Man Entertainment, Felthousens Florist and Make Me Fabulous. I am grateful for how they made our day so special and appreciative of their ongoing friendships.
“Jessica Painter is your best friend in wedding photographer form. Truly. I don’t know another way to put it!.”

“She has such positive energy and attention to detail; each time we received photos from her, it was like receiving a warm hug in the mail (her packing is beautiful and notes are very thoughtful). We cannot recommend Jessica enough!"”
